A Hope Travels dog-walking 5K fundraiser on May 20 will benefit Help Hope Live in honor of Jennifer Jenkins. The 37-year-old has been living with health issues since age six and paralysis from the chest down since age 20.
Her work involves helping individuals with disabilities like herself to remain independent in their homes. The Hope Travels fundraiser will help Jennifer offset the uncovered cost of a critical therapeutic device, an electrical stimulation bike, that will ensure she can continue to stay as mobile and independent as possible – and keep giving back to her community.
