We updated our Terms of Service in August 2025 to provide more clarity about our nonprofit and how we operate.
We encourage you to read over our Terms of Service, which can be found in your Campaign Dashboard under Helpful Tools/Guidelines.
We’ve made these updates to ensure you feel confident and informed as you partner with us to make your Help Hope Live fundraising campaign a success. Thank you for being a part of our fundraising community!
Here’s a summary of the key clarifications we’ve made:
- In the Fundraising section, we explained how we define community-based fundraising. Community-based fundraising is “fundraising supported by more than one donor.”
- In the Fundraising section, we added information about what happens if there is another active fundraising campaign in place outside of a Help Hope Live campaign. In those cases, “we reserve the right to adjust or discontinue our support.” One of those adjustments is the following: “We will only be able to pay vendors directly and will no longer offer reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses.
- In the Fees section, we clarified how our administrative fee applies to money orders as well as checks.
- In the Donations and Acknowledgements section, we noted that donors can give anonymously or give without disclosing the amount of their donation.
