“The disease will keep trying to pull you in, but you just have to keep fighting it.”

62-year-old pharmacist James Teltschik is fighting COVID-19 and awaiting a life-altering double lung transplant. Once transplanted, he will become the twelfth person in the U.S. to receive a double lung transplant due to COVID-19.

Transplant-related medical costs may top $1 million with many expenses not covered by insurance. James and his family are fundraising with the nonprofit Help Hope Live for associated costs.

“Keep fighting, keep fighting, and don’t give up: too many people love you and pray for you.”
