In July 2020, Jacob Brewer became a survivor. During a family beach vacation, he unwittingly joined an extremely rare group: the 270 people in the US struck by lightning each year.
The 5 years that have passed since his life-changing catastrophic injury are marked by relentless determination by Jacob, his parents, and his entire community.

Now 19 years old, Jacob remains fully focused on the possibility of regaining mobility and independence. Until he can walk again, his community is moving for him, mobilizing their love and hope through a fundraising campaign with Help Hope Live.
