Robert Gage

“I cannot picture a day on this earth without him by my side.”

Fighting liver cancer, Robert Gage needs a transplant to survive. His sister Jessica Massingham spoke to the KMPH FOX 26 News team to explain how important her brother is to her – and why finances could stand in the way of his miracle.

Robert and family were blindsided by the cancer diagnosis in 2023. Their unwavering rock began to experience everyday difficulties with medical hardship and cognitive fog.

“He’s getting to the bottom of his savings…Last year, he paid $16,000 in medical bills.”

Insurance will cover just 50% of the cost of the life-saving procedure. Key costs include temporary medical relocation for the transplant and recovery.

That’s why Robert and family turned to Help Hope Live to fundraise. They’ve raised over $5,400 in Robert’s honor.
