Devoted mom and community volunteer Dawn Ritchie is fundraising with Help Hope Live to help cover the $50,000 cost of a safe accessible van for her 28-year-old daughter, Sammy Jane Check.

A part-time registered nurse, Dawn is living with osteoarthritis herself. Her daughter Sammy has unique life-impacting medical challenges, including cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

$4,000 has been raised so far to assist with the cost of the van, which insurance doesn’t cover despite its medical necessity for a medically fragile young woman like Sammy.

“She is a brave and courageous girl. She inspires me every day and is my hero.”
