Radnor Nonprofit Executive Director Kelly L Green Named to Philadelphia’s Titan 100

Kelly L Green of Help Hope Live Is Among Philadelphia’s Top 100 C-Levels

RADNOR, Pa.—On June 3, Kelly L Green, Executive Director of Radnor-based national nonprofit Help Hope Live, was named to the 2026 Titan 100. The annual recognition program honors the top CEOs and C-level executives in the Philadelphia region.

Green is one of the 100 business and nonprofit leaders selected for demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion.

Together, the Titan 100 generate $71.6 billion in annual revenue and employ over 78,000 people. A September 10 awards ceremony will solidify the honor.

“I am so grateful to be a part of such a passionate and visionary group of Philadelphia change-makers,” shared Green. “It is a full-circle moment for me that reminds me why I chose this career and a mission with purpose.”

Kelly L Green became Help Hope Live’s Executive Director in 2017. As she explained:

“I not only believe in the mission of Help Hope Live, but I also once used the service and it completely changed my life.”

Her mom, a Philadelphia schoolteacher, was told to have $15,000 available for out-of-pocket costs before she could be listed for a life-saving kidney transplant. She is pictured above second from the right along with Kelly, far right; Kelly’s aunt and kidney donor, far left; and Kelly’s daughter.

Even with great health insurance, out-of-pocket costs added up fast. Green and her family faced not only the dire need for financial help but also the emotional challenge of asking for it. That’s when her mom’s social worker suggested Help Hope Live.

Her family raised $18,000 in 3 weeks with Help Hope Live, and her mom got a life-changing transplant. A decade later, Green took on a leadership role with the nonprofit to advocate for other families facing significant medical challenges.

“At Help Hope Live, we help people facing catastrophic health conditions to meet their out-of-pocket medical expenses in a safe and trusted way,” she explained.

“We can’t solve a medical crisis, but we will do everything in our power to prevent it from becoming a financial crisis.”

For over 40 years, Help Hope Live has been showing clients and families how to bring together a network of relatives, friends, and neighbors in fundraising efforts to help cover the cost of uninsured medical expenses.

At any given moment, Green and the Help Hope Live team are aiding and advising approximately 5,000 individuals and families across the county.

Under her leadership, Help Hope Live:

  • Expanded the conditions covered to include fundraising campaigns for cancer, COVID-19, and mental health to meet the demand.
  • Strengthened its financial stability to reaffirm mission and impact for decades to come.
  • Offered a safe haven and seamless support for patients who sought help from other platforms and continued to face hardship or lost key benefits.
  • Received local and national recognition, including in the Emmy-winning documentary Patrice: The Movie (on Hulu) about Help Hope Live client Patrice Jetter’s fundraising journey to secure an accessible van after a GoFundMe campaign resulted in her losing her benefits.
  • Partnered with the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association for Every Child Deserves a Bike to give adaptive bikes to dozens of PA/NJ/DE families unable to afford the $5,000+ cost.
  • Started Bags of Hope, an annual staff tradition, to package and deliver bags of comfort and cheer to hospitalized patients during the holidays, just as Green’s mother once received. The program has now expanded nationwide.

“This nonprofit represents an incredible evolution that has never lost its core mission,” shared Green. “It is a best-kept secret: boutique medical fundraising that is trusted, protected, compassionate, and backed by decades of expertise. We provide all this support at no charge to clients and their families.”

Fundraising plays a critical role in helping the organization’s clients recover and maintain their health and independence when facing a transplant need, chronic illness, or life-changing injury.

“At Help Hope Live, we have guardrails and guarantees to help families,” explained Green. “Funds are restricted only for medical and related purposes. We verify the condition with a medical professional. We pay direct to vendor as often as we can. We guide our clients through a process that can really be complicated and quite scary and provide maximum protection for their benefits along the way.”

In her view, the beauty of Help Hope Live’s mission is that it’s more than fundraising and more than receiving help: families assisted by Help Hope Live can go on to serve their communities again.

“You get the help you need when you’re in a chaotic and fearful place,” explained Green. “When your crisis is over, once your bills are paid, you can pay it forward. You can help someone else. When you’re in a better place, you’re going to help other people.”

Help Hope Live has helped more than 25,000 individuals and families and raised over $194 million for medical expenses and related costs since its founding by a Philadelphia transplant surgeon and his wife, a nurse, in 1983.
