Andrew T. McGeady

“It’s been a challenge…being cooped up in the house without being able to have the independence to go out and be part of the community and maintain my health.”
39-year-old Andrew McGeady is a well-known presence in his community. Living with cerebral palsy, Andrew depends on reliable and safe accessible transportation to pursue employment, advocate for the disability community, attend church and community events, and engage in regular activity-based therapy to stay healthy.

In December 2024, an accident totaled Andrew’s accessible vehicle. Renting a van costs over $190 per day, leaving Andrew and his family between a rock and a hard place.
His community turned to Help Hope Live to fundraise for the cost of a replacement, which will exceed $50,000 out of pocket.

In less than 3 weeks, they have raised over $18,500.

“With help from supporters — a much-deserved reward for Andrew’s good works — the driveway won’t be empty much longer.”
