“It’s challenging, but you really just celebrate the wins a lot more than you ever used to”
17-year-old Help Hope Live client Jack Weeks continues to navigate his new normal after a June 2020 spinal cord injury – with help from his family, new and old friends, and his community.
His life today includes exercise-based rehabilitation with Project Walk Boston, mental health management, an accessible mini-apartment, online classes, plenty of time with his siblings and friends, ongoing medical treatment, and a community fundraising campaign for essential needs like accessible transportation.
