Olsen helps fan get through tough times

On April 26, Melianie Babb and her 4 young children were forced to evacuate their home in their wheelchair accessible van due to tornado warnings. In the process, they hit a flash flood. While the family escaped safely, their van was totaled in the flood, and insurance won’t cover the total cost of an accessible van.

We are so grateful to the team at PHL-17 and our client Sidney Schmid and mom, Krishna, for making it possible for us to share a special story on-air with our local Philadelphia community.

Marcus has been fundraising with Help Hope Live since December 2025. His community has raised over $17,600 in his honor in 5 months.
