6th ANNUAL FUNDRAISER TO HELP WEST CHESTER MOTHER WITH PARALYSIS
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.—On Friday, May 10, come together for a great cause at the 6th Annual Love. Live. Give. fundraising event at The Great American Pub (123 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA) to support paralyzed West Chester mother Libby Judge. From 6 to 11 p.m., enjoy food, wine and beer, silent and live auctions, dancing to DJ Dan, and fun in a group photo booth.
On March 15, 2014, Libby suffered a severe spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the chest down, with some movement in her shoulders, triceps, biceps, and wrists only. Libby’s life has dramatically changed forever. Individuals who suffer from spinal cord injuries have exorbitant lifetime costs. Even with health insurance, Libby’s out-of-pocket expenses are $200,000+ per year. “Libby’s medical and rehabilitation bills continue to accumulate,” explained her family, “including caregiving, physical therapy, and emergency illness and hospitalization expenses that are not fully covered by insurance.”
Therapy expenses and many other costs related to her health and daily life are not covered by insurance and come with a large lifetime price tag. Proceeds from the 6th Annual Love. Live. Give. fundraising event will be donated to the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Libby Judge to assist with uninsured medical expenses. According to family members, thanks to funds raised through this annual community staple, “Libby continues to make good rehabilitative progress despite many medical setbacks along the way. She is proud of her grandchildren’s many accomplishments, and she is so grateful that she is able to be a part of them.”

Help Hope Live is a national nonprofit that specializes in engaging communities in fundraising campaigns for people who need a transplant or are affected by a catastrophic injury or illness. Since 1983, campaigns organized by Help Hope Live have raised over $135 million to pay patient expenses. ##
