We believe every kid deserves the chance to access the simple childhood joy of bike-riding. Our friends at the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association feel the same way.
That’s why this month, we partnered up to gift 12-year-old Tommy Schrank and his family with a customized, Flyers-themed adaptive bike.
Living with multiple diagnoses that affect his energy levels and mobility, Tommy now has a new way to enjoy his town, his community, and quality time with his family.
With regular use, this bike will also help strengthen the left side of his body, helping him reach his rehabilitation goals.
While bikes like these can be life-changing in more ways than one for kids like Tommy, they are often out-of-reach financially for families.
