Tony and Cindy Bertram have experienced the physical and financial strain of an urgent transplant need. One year after Cindy joined the liver transplant waiting list, her husband is working to inform, engage, and enlist help from his community, both as potential organ donors and as financial contributors.
In the process, he is spreading the word about why GoFundMe may not be the best choice for transplant patients who need to fundraise.
