JULY 21 FAJITA FUNDRAISER TO HELP LOCAL MAN GET TRANSPLANT
$17,500 Raised So Far to Help Dion Fink Get a Kidney Transplant
EASTLAND, Texas—This Sunday, July 21, enjoy a delicious fajita lunch at the Fajita Lunch Fundraiser at the Lumber Yard Event Center for a good cause. Funds raised will go to the national nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Robert “Dion” Fink, a Cisco 46-year-old fundraising for a life-changing kidney transplant.
Fajita Lunch Fundraiser Details
When: Sunday, July 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (while supplies last)
Where: The Lumber Yard Event Center at 313 W. Main Street, Eastland, Texas 76448
What: Enjoy two beef or chicken fajitas with rice, beans, and all the toppings plus a drink and dessert.
Cost: $15 suggested donation

Dion’s Story
In 2006, Cisco resident Dion was unexpectedly diagnosed with the rare auto-immune disease granulomatosis with polyangiitis. In 2019, a disease flare-up left him with profound hearing loss in both ears and severe damage to his kidneys.
Dion is currently preparing for a life-changing kidney transplant.
When Dion realized the massive potential cost of a kidney transplant, which can easily exceed $440,000 before insurance, he turned to the trusted nonprofit Help Hope Live to fundraise. His generous community has already raised over $17,500 towards his $50,000 goal.
Proceeds from the Fajita Lunch Fundraiser will go directly to Help Hope Live in Dion’s honor to offset transplant-related expenses.
