As of 2026, Help Hope Live has earned the highest possible Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid.

On December 29, 2025, the Foxwynd Foundation extended a $30,000 grant to support the mission of the national medical fundraising nonprofit Help Hope Live.

We’re grateful to the local news stations out of Tampa Bay, FL that have helped to amplify the campaign of 71-year-old William “Scott” Baggett, a perpetual volunteer who has changed lives with his therapy dog training and its community impact.

In 2025, our annual Bags of Hope tradition flourished with help from staff, local organizations, and friends of Help Hope Live, plus Ambassadors across the country.

At 71 years old, William “Scott” Baggett has faced decades of challenges and triumphs living with a paralyzing polio diagnosis. A local legend for his life-changing work training therapy dogs and volunteering with kids, Scott is now in need of a little help himself.

April 22, 2024 started out as a positive day for 40-year-old Jason Ellefson and his wife, Shawna. In the middle of a set with his rock band, Jason collapsed. He experienced 4 cardiac arrests, brain damage, and a spinal cord stroke.

In 2022, life took a piece of Viviana Serratos: her middle finger. The community is rallying to help 43-year-old Viviana secure the prosthetic finger that will restore hope and greatly impact her physical and mental wellbeing.
