We made the following updates to our Terms of Service this month to provide more clarity about Help Hope Live’s fundraising support and more details about eligible expenses.
Fundraising Section:
Help Hope Live has the right to remove content from Campaign Pages if they violate our Terms of Service, laws, charitable fundraising guidelines, or our mission & policies.
Requesting Funds Section:
We understand that our clients often experience medical and related expenses before they start fundraising with us. That’s why we made the two changes listed below to expand our guidelines and increase our support in this area.
Unpaid medical bills from up to 1 year prior to the opening date of a Help Hope Live campaign may be eligible for direct-to-vendor payment.
Unpaid medical bills from up to 6 months prior to the opening date may be eligible for reimbursement if there were no other fundraising campaigns for the same need during that time.
