May 23: 5th Annual Rally for Rebecca Koltun 5K Sparks Help & Hope

On May 23, 2026, the community will gather to walk, run, roll, and enjoy the 5th Annual Rally for Rebecca 5K Walk-Run-Roll and Fun Run at Plainview Old Bethpage Middle School. Supported by the Plainview Water District and Family Bagels as well as enthusiastic volunteers, the event will raise critical funds for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Rebecca Koltun.

May 3: 5K in Tukwila to Help Local Mom Jovita McConnell Following Coma

On Sunday, May 3, run or walk for a good cause at the first Jovita Strong 5K event at Tukwila Community Center to benefit the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Jovita McConnell. Jovita experienced a life-altering aneurysm and coma in April 2025. Fundraising efforts will help fuel her ongoing rehabilitation.
